A U.S. extension of Itot Africa and Okademy Africa
Our mission is to help Africans and those from the African diaspora develop technology skills and provide opportunities for career progression within their communities.
Bridging the digital divide
Okademy USA is the American offshoot of Itot Africa and Okademy Africa, two pioneering organizations committed to transforming lives through technology and digital skills training.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in North Loop, Minneapolis, Okademy USA carries forward the shared vision of equipping the next generation.
As part of our non-profit mission, we provide hands-on technology training and accompany program graduates with the tools and support for their next journey — whether continuing higher education, joining the workforce, getting or keeping a job, or switching careers. Our goal is to increase representation in the tech sector and contribute to socioeconomic development within historically marginalized communities.
Together, our organizations are united by a mission to bridge the digital divide and create equitable pathways into the global tech workforce. Okademy USA extends this mission to the U.S. context, serving as a platform for empowerment, career progression, and community transformation.

A faith-driven, redemptive business
Itot & Okademy is a faith-driven organization practicing redemptive entrepreneurship: business as a means of restoration, not just profit. We build companies and classrooms that create dignified work, restore hope and serve our local and global communities.
Business as Mission
Digital skills and enterprise are our mission field. We use profitable work at Itot to fund and sustain the non-profit academy.
Redemptive, not extractive
We measure success by lives changed and next steps taken in our communities — not only by revenue. Value flows back to the people we train.
Character alongside craft
Career and skills development Bible study, small group support and a Christian work ethic shape how our students learn and lead.
Serving with partners
We work alongside local churches, community development programs, employers, and other non-profits and organizations to prepare global and local workers.
